She works in the field of neuroscience and trying to understand cellular signaling of neurons. In particular, she is in Dr. Suhasa Kodandaramaiah’s lab trying to develop technology and instrumentation for cellular neural interfacing. She goes into details about why she chose the biomedical engineering field and her goals for the future. We also discussed what advice she would give to young women who want to pursue a career in the life sciences!
